ISSWSH conference news: Dr Andrew Goldstein

Dr. Andrew Goldstein, coauthor of “When Sex Hurts”, spoke on several topics, including one lecture entitled “Prevalence of Sexual Pain in Women and Normal Anatomy”. He pointed to a study by Harlow & Steward reporting 16% of women experience chronic vulvar pain. Of these women, 42% did not receive a diagnosis until they had seen several providers.
