Cydney Martinez (She/Her)
Cydney strives to provide equitable and holistic care to help her patients gain independence and quality of life. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Columbia University. At Columbia, Cydney completed an advanced track in pediatrics in which she developed a critically appraised topic on pediatric pelvic floor therapy.
Early in her PT career, Cydney grew her knowledge and interest in pelvic health physical therapy because she often found it was a critical part of treating her patients across all ages, abilities, and clinical settings. She pursued advanced education through Herman & Wallace in both adult and pediatric pelvic health rehabilitation as well as through courses with Mary Massery that explore the strong link between breathing mechanics and body function.
Cydney has a robust background in general and complex pediatrics, but also has experience in sports, general orthopedics, and oncology. She takes a multisystem and multidisciplinary approach to caring for her patients and considers their entire health picture as well as their own goals for their desired function.
Outside of the clinic, Cydney can be found doing ceramics, rock climbing, swimming, baking, or using her AMC movie pass to its fullest at her local theater.
