Emily Moore (She/Her)
Emily helps patients achieve their goals, make lasting change, and understand their bodies and health. She provides patient-centered, holistic care – considering many aspects of life. Emily is passionate about serving a wide variety of patients. In addition to pelvic health she treats orthopedic issues such as back pain and neck pain, as well as gait and balance issues for older adults and neurologic conditions.
Emily loves learning and has dedicated over 1,273 hours to continuing education, including the PNF certificate program with a neurologic focus. She enthusiastically continues her study of functional manual therapy with the Institute of Physical Art. Skills she has developed help her recognize and vary movement patterns to enhance functional performance and prevent injury. She has completed clinical affiliations in acute bedside, neurological inpatient, and orthopedic outpatient settings. Additionally, she is certified in the GYROTONIC® Method and GYROKINESIS® Method and is a former professional dance artist.
Emily loves the outdoors and finds all kinds of ways to enjoy nature: running, hiking, paddling, cooking, and biking. She enjoys watching old movies with her partner, Charlie, dancing with friends, and studying a variety of somatic and movement practices.
